Francis Marsh and Michael Dyer ghosted to a podium finish in Enniskillen on Friday evening at the Spooktacular, a new addition to the calendar consisting of a town centre 5K road race over 2½ laps with a halloween theme. Francis was 2nd in 16:25 min and Michael 3rd in 16:56 with Darren McKee 10th in 17:45 min. The North Down athletes were in a leading group of three around the twisting hilly circuit along with Finn Valley’s Mark Hoy and they were together at the 3K mark. Francis held on to finish 4 secs behind the winner with Michael dropping back but holding off the fast finishing 4th runner.
