Saturday morning may have been cold but there was another bumper turnout at the two local venues. With 121 finishers at Victoria Park and a record 190 at Belfast Waterworks, there were 311 overall – another record total. Most competitors from North Down AC headed for Victoria Park where Dennis Scott was the overall winner in a pb of 17:41 min. Steve Wise in 11th with 19:35 was another with a pb, at least a pb since joining the club. Jamie McMeechan ran 20:05, Craig McMeechan a pb of 20:14, Terry Eakin 21:13 and Frank Dillon 24:56. At the Waterworks, Sarah Benton was 6th lady in 22:44 and Jill Aicken ran 26:29.
