The Moira Cross Country, promoted by City of Lisburn AC, may not yet be part of the ANI League, though a good case could be made for its inclusion, but numbers were well up on a year ago. In dry and crisp conditions, Jessica Craig ran well for 4th in the Senior Ladies 3 mile race in 18:29 min with Roberta Dornan, steadily coming back to full fitness, 11th in 19:19 and first F35. Also on the comeback trail, Ali Robinson was 14th in 19:56 and Rachel Gibson was 16th in 20:10. Lagan Valley won the team race from North Down with Dromore 3rd. Glen Willis opted for the U18 youths 3 milr race where he was 2nd in 16:25. In the Senior Mens 4 mile race, won by North Belfast from Lagan Valley and City of Lisburn, Darren McKee was 9th in 23:14 min with David Gray 26th in 24:58 and Norman Lellyett 51st in 29:21 – 2nd M60.
