Currently in the form of their lives, Jessica Craig and Lauren Scott added to their recent run of good results by coming first and second in the 3000m Under 16 girls race at the Pegasus AC cross country. The meeting was held at the Coleraine Campus of the University of Ulster and was sponsored by A-Hutchinson (Floor and Wall Supplies)Ltd.
Jessica won in 12.11, 5 seconds ahead of Lauren. Nicola Simpson was 4th in the 3500m U18 womens’ race with brother Thomas 5th at U16 boys. Leigh McWha and Claire Scott, sister of Lauren were 9th and 10th in the U14 girls’ 2000m.
Defending Champion Deane Fisher won the Open race from Pauric McKinney, Steve Begley the veterans from Davy Allen and Eimear Mullan the ladies.
