Born 2 Run – Gosford
The latest round of the Born2Run forest series attracted well over 600 athletes to the County Armagh woodland on Saturday, with options at 5 and 10k over a mixture of road and forest track. In excellent running conditions, Daniel Scollan was once again in the thick of the action, having tasted victory in two of the three events during the first half of the series, and proved to be the star performer again over 10k, clinching the win in an excellent time of 36:25. Ashley Dixon followed in 37:41 (3rd Male), while Christopher Ballentine was comfortably inside the top 100, with a time of 47:09 (88th). Next up – Antrim Castle Gardens on January 29th.
