Jimmy’s 10K

The welcome return to the race calendar of the East Down hosted Jimmy’s 10k around Downpatrick attracted upwards of 550 runners with additional relays.  The organisers encountered a last minute route change as a fallen tree brought down a power line, which resulted in a short course.  The runners didn’t seem to mind though as the wind and rain provided difficult conditions.  Eight athletes from North Down made the trip to Downpatrick on Sunday:
