North Down AC was well represented at the ever popular Carlingford Half Marathon and 10k on Saturday 4th March. Jack Russell, 18th overall, ran just over 26 times farther than his previous race last week recording a new PB of 1:19:39. Sarah Gibson also added another half marathon PB to her incredible form this season, finishing in 74th place overall in 1:31:09. Terry Eakin was the oldest finisher in the half marathon, showing up many of his younger competitors with a time of 1:47:19. Pat O’Driscoll was also the oldest finisher in the 10k at 1:04:42, leaving some 40 runners trailing in his wake!
