With much of the action this week involving trails and hills, even the sole road race involved a few hills! 5 North Down athletes made the trip to Mallusk on Friday 4th August for the popular 5 mile road race which is now in its eighth year. First of the North Down runners to cross the finish line was Ashley Dixon in 4th place overall in 27:43. Ricky Jordan finished 10th in 29:19 ahead of Tom Agnew 37:42. Sarah Gibson was 1st F50 in 35:17 and Ian McCreary rounded off NDAC involvement in 49:17.
