In the 300m races at Mary Peters on Thursday night, John Carlisle was 1st Junior in the Open Race in 9.53.3 while in the 1990/91 race Niall Robinson was 3rd in 10:46.3 and Thomas Simpson (fresh from the ECOS in Ballymena) was 6th in 11:04.1. In the girls race, Jessica Craig was 2nd in the 1990/91 race in 11:10.1 and Kerry Iveston 1st in the 1988/89 group with 11:36.8. Conor McGrattan was 2nd in the 1992/93 javelin with 20 metres plus.
