The ever popular annual Gr8 Dundrum Run took place on Saturday 7th October. The picturesque 8.4 mile route is a mix of road, beach and boardwalk incorporating Murlough’s Nature Reserve. 6 North Down AC runners made the trip down to Dundrum. Alasdair Mair was first to finish in 52:06 with Les Wilkinson coming agonisingly close to the hour in 1:00:09. Luke Hamilton’s excellent running form continues with a superb time of 1:04:31. Sandra Hall took 8 minutes of her previous best time on the course to complete it in 1:12:53 and Mick Hall wasn’t far behind in 1:14:02 with Kim McCourt who is more usually found running in the Mournes than watching them sweep down to the sea, finishing in 1:17:03.
