Jill Connolly, no stranger to endurance challenges and ultramarathons, took part in the Rasselbock Winter Weekender at Sherwood Pines Forest near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. The 2 day event involved running as many 5.8k loops as possible within 6 hours on the forest trails on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th January with the direction reversed on Sunday. Jill treated this as a training exercise for a forthcoming ultramarathon and comfortably averaged more than 2 marathons over the 2 days running over 46km on Saturday and 40.5km on Sunday.
