Cream always rises and stars of the Schools Interpros in Tullamore were Amy Foster, David Keys and Hannah Lewis. Amy won yet another sprint double i 12.4 and 24.9 for 100m and 200m. David won the discus and extended his club record for the U15 discus to 44.45m and was 4th in hammer. Hannah had another huge long jump of 5.36m to finish 3rd and top Ulster despite being under age. She also ran 26.2 for 200m for 4th.
Amy, Hannah and Kiki Malomo Paris (also under age) were also three quarters of the winning Ulster 4 x 100m relay. Ulster girls were 3rd overall and Ulster boys were first.
Othe North down athletes in good Ulster squads were Kim Shaw, Katie Hewitt, Nathan Barnett and Ben NcConnell.
