Thomas Simmons confirmed his current good triathlon form by finishing 7th on Wednesday evening in 30.09 with Ian Atkinson 19th in 33.22. Near namesake Thomas Simpson was 24th in 34.11 and 3rd Junior while Kerry Iveston on one of her local training courses was 36th in 36.49, finishing 4th woman overall and 1st Junior.
The race was won by Gary McLernon from Paul Blaney.
