Amy Foster had the best possible start when she broke 12 seconds in the 100m for the first time on the opening day of the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Lignano, Italy. She won her first round heat in 11.98 secs, yet another pb and club record. She went into the semi final as the third fastest after Ezinne Okparaebo of Norway and Yelizaveta Bryzgina of Ukraine. All three girls won their respective semis with Amy clocking 12.08 into a +1 mps headwind. 100m finals take place on Tuesday at 18.10 GMT..
