Javelin thrower and former decathlete, Michael McConkey has been called up into the GB and NI U23 team for this weekends international against Czech Republic, Spain and France in Manchester. Other Northern Ireland athletes in the team are Zoe Brown (pole vault) and Laura Kerr (javelin), who like Michael is coached by Alison Moffitt.
