At the only meeting at the Sportsplex this summer apart from the North Down Games, the forecast was so bad that the pole vault was cancelled. The reality was that the weather turned out perfect and a packed infield infield saw nearly four hours of concentrated field event action. Senior men seemed to be North Down and Damien Crawford but the juniors came out from all corners. Damien got the overall prize by the points value of his javelin with Jeremy Harper 2nd via discus and 56 pounder with Brendan McConville 3rd via shot while Richard won the hammer. Scott McCauley, Pete Wickens and Danielle Oliver got junior vouchers
