Tom Reynolds (Brunel), John Saulters (Queens), Luke Reynolds (Cardiff) and Philip Browne all were in Sheffield at the weekend for the British Universities Indoor Championship as was Michael Morgan (Queens) who competed for us last year in the National League. Phil was 7th in the long jump after placing 2nd in his qualifying group and John reached the semi finals in 200m and 400m. Club indoor records are now tumbling and Philip had a new long jump one while John improved his 400m one.Phil jumped 6.49m in the long jump final after 6.54m in his qualifying group. John was 5th in the 200m semi final with 23.68 after 23.63 in the heat and 4th in the 400m semifinal with 50.81 after 50.59 in the heat. Luke was 5th in the 60m hurdles heat in 8.87. Tom was 5th in the 60m heat with 7.40 but no-heighted in the pole vault.
