Congratulations to Amy Foster who continued the club tradition by winning the prestigious AAI All Star Award for County Down for the 2005 track season. Each year, 32 such awards are presented, one per county, to the outstanding junior athletes throughout Ireland. The awards are to be made at a Special Presentation Dinner in the Arklow Bay Hotel in Mullingar on 11th March. Amy joins a select list of North Down AC previous winners which reads like a Roll of Honour and includes Alison Moffitt, Lisa Kane, Andrea Ramage, Roger Sexton, Darragh Murphy, Brendan McConville, Eva Massey, Tom Reynolds, Michael McConkey and most recently Jeremy Harper.
