Simon Seaton was first club runner home in the Belfast Marathon finishing 44th in 2:57.19. Ian Atkinson in a reprise of his London Marathon 10 days ago was 62nd in 3:02.48 with Marcus McAuley 151st in 3:22.10, James Agar 221st in 3:30.19, Kris McKee 524th in 3:53.39 and Sarah Benton 973rd in 4:30.14. Four teams ran the Relay with the first home the Ken”s Krumblies, Brian Smith, Ean McClure, Norman Lellyett, Derek Jeffers and Hugh Young, all 60+ and a combined age of 315. They were an excellent 20th in 2:58.18. The Mixed Team was 26th in 3:06.08 after Ian Atkinson had combined the opening leg with the full Marathon and Nicholas Arkenspaar had run two legs as the next runner was stranded on the bus. The two Womens Teams were 41st in 3:13.10 and 132nd in 3:30.41 while Jessica Craig was 1st female in the 4 mile Fun Run.
