Strong winds made good times unlikely at Mary Peters for the middle distance meeting devoted to 1500m races and there was a poor turnout. Francis Marsh and Stephanie Hambling were the North Down runneres with Francis running 4:08.77 and Stephanie 5:33.80. These were club veteran records for the event but both runners are likely to run much faster during the season.
