On Wednesday in a busy night for road races Simon Seaton finished 2nd in the Lughinisland event, slightly over 5 miles (5.05). Simon ran the course in 28.46 min, the winner being Brendan Teer of East Down in 27.06. In the Ecos Race in Ballymena over 5 miles, also on Wednesday night, Thomas Simpson was 2nd Junior running 32.57 for 76th. Kris McKee was 116th in 36.36. There were 225 finishers with Jarlath Falls of Ballymena winning in 25.30 from Greg Walsh and Eddie King.
