On a blistering hot June afternoon, four club runners went across the lough for the Carrickfergus 10K promoted by East Antrim Harriers. Nik Arkensparr was 20th in 37.08 with Marcus McAuley 32nd in 40.23, Simon Cummings 41st in 41.20 and Jonathan McGrath 50th in 43.11. There were 104 finishers in a race with lots of quality at the front. Joe McAllister won in 30.58 from Brian Campbell in 31.03 and Paul Rowan in 31.18 with Cara Girvan first woman in 38.47.
