Pat O’Driscoll ran his 45th half marathon in Longford on Sunday without ever featuring in a prize list. In a big triumph for natural justice, this slight on the sport’s integrity was finally rectified at the superbly- named Pat the Baker Longford Half Marathon. Pat won the Male over 60 prize in 2:07.37 hrs (chip time 2:07.02). New member Paul Gruhn ran 1:50.30 hr which was a pb.
