[Not a valid template]North Down members spent a hugely enjoyable evening at Bangor Town Hall on Wednesday as guests of the Mayor and Councillors of North Down Borough Council. As a mark of winning the All-Ireland Hibernian League last year and qualifying for the European Champion Clubs tournament, the Mayor, Councillor Alan Leslie, congratulated the club on behalf of the Council and presented the club Chairman with a print of Bangor Marina. Accepting on behalf of the club, Norman Munnis thanked the Council and spoke of the close relations between the two bodies and how the Mayor was unique in completing the Bangor Classic 10K while in office. The club members went on to enjoy the Council”s hospitality and wish to thank them for their generosity.
