Simon Cummings was first club runner at Ballynahinch in 41:31 min for 23rd place. He was overshadowed however by the girls when Debbie Matchett, Lynne Kerr and Kerry McCall won the womens team prize and Debbie was awarded the womens" veteran prize. Fred Murdock too had a good run and was first over 60 finisher. Paul Rowan won the open race in 32:37 min from David Simpson in 33:36 and Kerry Harty was first woman in 38:18.
