There is no shortage of Half Marathon oad races at the moment. In Dublin on Monday 5th Aug at the top AAI National Championships event, Jessica Craig ran an excellent 1:30.14 hr in 348th overall. The Cookstown Half Marathon took place the previous day on the Sunday 4th Aug and this year incorporated the Worl Police and Fire Games half marathon. North Down reults were Darren Hamilton 1:33.57, Sarah Benton 1:49.18 and Pat O’Driscoll 2:17.01 (2nd M65). The previous week on Sunday 28th July, Pat also took part in a breakaway Cookstown event and ran 2:16.53,
