John Carlisle and Niall Robinson headed to Glasgow for the Scottish Indoor U20 Championships, both being just squeezed out of the medals. John was 4th in the 1500m in 4:07.48 min and Niall was 4th in the 800m in 2:01.51 min, neither improving on their club junior records set at the Odyssey. Niall had three races in the day winning his heat in 2:01.75 and taking third in the semi in 2:01.57 while John was second in his heat in 2:13.94 so it was a busy day. >From the same training squad Stephanie Hambling went a very different path and opted for the opening mountain race of the season at Binevenagh. In the 7.5 mile 1739ft race, Stephanie was 34th overall in 77:20 min finishing fifth woman and first F35.
