Willowfield men and North Belfast women won the team medals at the Senior Cross Country Championships in Antrim on Saturday with Brian Campbell and Kerry Harty the individual winners. The North Down womens” team finished 6th with Stephanie Hambling 23rd in 24:50min, Lynne Kerr 33rd in 26:30 min, Ange Perrott 34th in 26:33 min and Jill Dowie 41st in 28:32 min. Further down the age scale Kayleigh Walsh was the first Kilmaine runner home in Crossgar on Thursday when the new Cross country league for primary schools kicked off, finishing 5th overall in 4:06 min.
