The “ Jimmy’s Ten” 10K road race in Downpatrick on Sunday attracted the usual good St Patricks Day field with North Down runners doing particularly well in the vets categories. David Seaton warmed up for his forthcoming challenge against the Chairmen of the other Home Nations federations in Edinburgh by winning the M60 category in 39:49 min. Lynne Kerr did the same in the W45 category in 42:13 min while Tony Wall was 2nd M50 in 37:56 min. First club runner home was 27th placed Nick Arkensparr in 36:10 min.
