Age Group Indoor Champiopnships

[Not a valid template]The Northern Ireland  and Ulster Age Group Indoor Championships took place over the weekend at the Meadowbank Arena in Magherafelt. There was a much better response this year from North Down athletes than in the last few years when there was little interest. The two athletes collecting medals were Holly Brannigan who was 3rd in the U16 girls 60m and Kirsty O’Neill who was 3rd in the U16 girls high jump. The others all had respectable placings even though some were disappointed with their times or distances. No big deal at this time of year as they are in winter training and competing on a very different surface.
