Phil Browne opened his season with a winning 6.53m long jump at the Team Bath open meet on 26th April. Phil will be joining the 14 strong NDAC squad going to the Euro club champs in Portugal later this month. As will Jeremy Harper who represented University of Ulster in the discus at the BUSA Championships over the May Day weekend at Bedford. After a 47.01m throw in the qualifying round, Jeremy finished 4th in the final on Monday with 47.01m. New recruit Laura Laughlin (Queens) had 10.37m in the triple jump.
