The Newry Half Marathon (plus its associated full Marathon) took place on Sunday, mainly on the Newry-Warrenpoint Road with 639 finishers of which 243 were ladies.. North Down runners we found in the results (which are not user friendly) were David McMeechan 46th in 1:28.25, Catherine Roberts 79th and 6th lady in 1:32.09 and Sarah Benton 199th and 25th lady in 1:44.23 After three consistent races, Catherine is 1st in the Pure Runnining Half Marathon Series F40 category though at the moment she leads the overall ladies results in the series.
