Amy Foster and Eva Massey both had seasons bests on Sunday when they won gold at Santry in the Irish Senior Championships. Amy"s 11.54 sec in a strong 100m final was well inside her pb (and club record) but unfortunately a +2.7 wind reading was registered. Her winning time in the semi final was 11.59 sec. Eva won the shot with 16.20m her first 16m plus putt of the season. The other North Down medal came from Michael McConkey"s silver in the javelin with a 60.95m throw.
Jeremy Harper, after illness, was 5th at discus with 43.20m and Michael Dyer – also affected by illness – 10th at 800m in 1:55.15 min.
