On Saturday and Sunday, Tom Reynolds was 13th in an international decathlon in Woerden in the Netherlands with a pb of 6846 points, also gaining pbs in javelin and 1500m. Tom"s scores were 100m 11.44 sec (-0.3) 765 pts, long jump 6.57m (+1.8), 713 pts, shot 12.11m 613 pts, high jump 1.81m 636 pts, 400m 50.78 sec 779 pts, 110m hurdles 16.60 sec (-0.8), discus 35.27m 569 pts, pole vault 4.50m 760 pts, javelin 48.23m 562 pts, 1500m 4:41.44 min 671 pts and a total of 6846 pts. Competing on Sunday, Amy Foster ran in La Chaux de Fonds in Switzerland where she finished 3rd in the 100m in 11.72 sec and 4th in the 200m in 24.18 sec. Amy has had a great season winning the All-Ireland 100m title in July.
