Jordan Neil and Michael Dyer both had excellent runs in Saturday"s Auburn Classic XC (in Alabama State). Jordan finished 2nd for McNeese in 56th (24:26) with Michael 86th (25:01) over the carpet like 8K course – reckoned to be a little short. NcNeese finished a respectable 7th of 24 teams – and may have finished higher had not NBH"s Stephen Scullion dropped out when passed by Jordan. The race was won by Kenyan Elkanah Kibet (22:16) from compatriot Felix Kibioywo (22:16). British 1500m Olympian Tom Lancashire was 15th in 23:30. 213 finished the race.
