Over the weekend, Ben Reynolds and Matthew Martin represented Ireland at the European Athletics Team Championships (1st League) in Tallinn (Estonia), where Ireland equalled their highest ever finishing position of 7th place, but bettered their overall best points total (with a total of 253.5 points) in the competition won by Belarus (302.5 points). Ben Reynolds secured 3rd place in his 110m hurdles event, clocking 13.82secs for the distancein a competitive race won by Hungarian athlete Balazs Baji in 13.15secs .
