[Not a valid template]The Northern Ireland Junior Championship was held at Stormont on Saturday along with the Veteran Mens, Intermediate, Veteran and U20 Womens Championships. Condititions for athletes, officials and spectators could hardly have been worse with driving rain and gale force winds adding to the heavy ground. Despite all, North Down were well represented, both numerically and performance wise, across the events. Roberta Dornan had the best individual result with a silver medal in the Intermediate Womens Championship but results were strong throughout with the Junior Men and Veteran Women both unlucky to finish 4th and miss a team medal.
