Ben Reynolds finished 3rd in the 60m hurdlles in Birmingham at the AAA of England U20 Championships with a new pb and club indoor record over the 3″3″ U20 height. Ben was 4th in his heat in 8.09 secs and won the bronze medal with 7.93 secs in the final. He was also in the long jump, finishing 11th with a best of 6.54m. Gemma McAnirn had a busy time in Nenagh at the Irish University Championships with 5th in the indoor pentathlon with 2141 points. Her results were 60m hurdles 11.73 secs (423 points); 800m 2:46.23 min (504); high jump 1.35m (460); long jump; 4.16m (345); shot 8.15m (409). Her shot was worth another point for Queens as it was 6th in the individual event and another one came from 6th in the 8Kg weight for distance with 5.64m. Nicola Simpson, also Queens, ran 2:35.53 min in the 800m. In America Kiki Malomo Paris (UMBC) had an indoor pb of 26.63 secs when winning her heat at 200m in the Lafayette Winter Games.
