Roberta Dornan had a big run on Sunday in the Fleet Half Marathon with a new half marathon pb of 86:23 min, finishing 12th female. Also on Sunday, the Jimmy"s Ten 10K in Downpatrick had an impressive 550 finishers (including relay teams). David Seaton led the North Down contingent home in 93rd and won the M60 category. Debbie Matchett was 2nd F40 with Peter Stark, Jill Dowie, Sarah Benton, Maggi Gibson and Carmel O"Hare all featured as did comeback kid Janice McCartney. On a hillier course on Saturday, Mark Hopkins was 64th in the Glennariff Mountain Race in 68:05 min.
