Reynolds Brothers in Sun / Robin

The Reynolds brothers have been sighted recently in some exotic locations. Tom Reynolds has been on a training trip to America along with Ben Hazell during which they took in a very windy decathlon at the Mount Sac Relays meeting in Azusa, California. With a first day gale blowing Tom"s results were 100m 11.30 sec (+4.0) (795 pts), LJ  6.64m (+6.7) (729 pts), shot 11.22m (559 pts), HJ 1.81m (636 pts), 400m 51.21 sec (760 pts) for a first day score of 3479 points. On a better second day weatherwise he had 110m hurdles (-1.6) (789 pts), discus 37.43m (613 pts), PV 4.20m (673 pts), javelin 43.65m (495 pts), 1500m 4:67.45 min (574 pts) for a total of 6623 points, finishing 7th in the B event. Meanwhile brother Luke Reynolds is in the Gold Coast doing a placement as a physio in Queensland. On a recent outing  on the Gold Coast he guested in a 110m hurdle event at the Junior (3;3") height running a pb in 15.09 sec (-0.1) and at the Qeensland All Comers event in Brisbane he won the 110m hurdlles at Senior height in 15.65 sec (.0.9).

A little bit nearer, Robin Brown opened his track season on Saturday in Kingston at the Kinnaird & Swards meeting, running 9:15.38 min for 3000m. This was a pb to go with his recent road pb of 33:22 min at the Titanic Quarter 10K.
