We apologise for the delay in publishing the results from the Città di Alessandria International track meet a week or so ago. Brendan Mconville, Pete Glass, Claire Wilkinson, who is coached by Brendan, and Kenny Elliott attended the meeting in Italy courtesy of Sarah Semeraro. Sarah is the Italian pole vaulter with an aunt in Helens Bay who trained with the group in the winter of 2007-2008 and won silver at the Odyssey that season. Brendan no-jumped in pole vault coming in at 4.60m, Pete won the pole vault in 4.20m and Kenny had an electronic PB of 22.36 secs in the 200m. Claire was 2nd in the vault with a new pb of 3.70m. Sarah did not vault.
We also have results for Phil Browne who won both 100m and 200m on Saturday 9th May at the Avon and West Champioships in Yate.in 11.18 and 22.43 sec respectively. Katie Hewitt ran 64.36 sec at the Birmingham Open on 6th May.
