On Friday morning at the European Junior Championships in Serbia, Ben Reynolds qualified out of Round 1 in the 110m hurdles in 13.90 sec. Ben finished fourth in a fast heat and qualified as one of the fastest losers. He was up first and running from lane eight got a superb start but mid-race clattered a hurdle and struggled to keep his rhythm thereon. Dipping through in a tight third position he was left waiting to see if he would make the semi final stage with his 13.90 (-0.4m/s), just 1/100th off the automatic qualifying spot. He is ranked 12th going into the semi- finals which take place in the afternoon.
