Despite having a knee injury from Portaferry 10 miles, Roberta Dornan managed to hold on to 3rd place at the Cookstown Half Marathon on Friday evening, though in a slow time for her. Lynn Kerr was came second in her age group while Stephen Purdie and Paul Galloway had good runs as well. As a result Roberta won the Female Open category in the Half Marathon Grand Prix and Lynn also won her age category. Jill Dowie did not race but was still in profit on the day as it left her third in her category in the Grand Prix. Overall at Cookstown, Stephen was 54th in 91:28 min, Roberta 70th in 94:04, Lynne 143rd in 103:48 and Paul 197th in 110:50.
