[Not a valid template]Helens Bay Golf Club was bursting at the seams on Monday evening when 58 members attended the North Down Night of Glamour – the annual Christmas Dinner. Sterling work by the Golf Club staff ensured there was minimum disruption though organiser David Seaton had his annual worry wondering how big the event would become. David, Brian Smith and Chair Valerie McDonough welcomed everyone to the dinner, noting that all sections of the club were represented. The winners of last year’s Grand Prix, Catherine Roberts and Dennis Scott received their prizes. Subsequently a ballot for the Marie Curie charity raised over £280 from a very generous set of prizes, the majority of which were donated by club member Michael Jenkins. A big thank you to all who helped make it a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
