There were more medals for club athletes on the second day of the Age Group Championships with throwers continuing to shine. Matthew Martin and Sarah Newell took the javelin titles in the 1994 boys and 1993 girls javelin and Conor McGrattan was second in the 1993 event. Louis Atkinson took two silvers in 1994 discus and hammer and was 4th at shot. Kerrie Craig won the 1993 high jump. Matthew Hamilton won heats at 1994 100m and 200m and in the finals was third at 200m in 24.64 sec and second at 100m in 12.08 sec.
