It was very wet and windy and Saturday’s results for the Victoria Park ParkRun are worryingly late to come out but the race was won by Alex Donald who claims to have been awoken 10 minutes before the start (he lives about 300m away). However Terry Eakin stole the thunder by becoming the first person to run the Victoria Park event at 9.00am followed by the Waterworks event at 9.30am. With 2 ParkRuns available 30 minutes apart, someone was always going to do it but would you have bet on it in the second week of the Victoria Park run and by an athlete in his sixties?
