Four club athletes were in Tullamore on Sunday for Day 3 of the All Ireland Age Group Championships. The javelin throwers added two more medals to the list with bronze going to Conor McGrattan in the U17 boys with 42.33m and Sarah Newell in the U17 girls with 28.89m. The 200m runners each made the final where Mark Widdowson was 4th in the U15 event with an electric pb of 25.06 sec into a headwind (-1.1) while Matthew Hamilton was 6th in the U16 event despite a pb of 24.36 sec (+0.3).
