Over 800 athletes took part in the latest Born to Run race held at Castleward estate on Saturday. North Down runners participated in the 10k and half marathon races.
Young Jessica Scott running in her first 10k race along with her sister Anna, finished 3rd in 49:05 with Anna finishing 6th with 52:16. Both of the girls were representing Lagan College.
Stephen Mulvenna 66th in 53:04 and Melanie Patton 113th in 57:37 also ran in the 10k race.
In the Half marathon distance Sarah Benton was first home with Helen Byers, Helen Wyse, Trevor Patterson and James Barr also running the longer event over tough ground.
