Due to the continuing problems with the inside lanes at the Sportsplex, the Bank of Ireland Young Athletes Meeting was transferred to the Mary Peters Track. It was not a unanimous choice but it did give access to a wider pool of officials, to whom we would like to express our gratitude. A big plus from this meeting is the chance to give opportunities to our younger members who have only recently joined us and it was good that so many made the trip. And its congratulations to Mark Armstrong who made the transition from this year’s Primary Schools intake to being the U13 Boy Athlete of the Match. Well done Mark.
