Most of us are familiar with the Belfast to Dublin road and consider it a 2 hour car drive or train journey. Michael Stevenson departed from the Crown bar in Great Victoria Street, Belfast at around lunchtime on Friday and a little under 24 hours later arrived at St James Gate in Dublin having run the full distance between the two cities. Michael finished 10th for the event and throughout the run had great support in the form of Cara Jeffrey, Sean Nickell and Colin Walker. Well done Michael and all of the North Down support crew.
Stramilano
Nicola and Chris Downey enjoyed the scenery of Milan as they ran the Stramilano half marathon last weekend. Their finishing times weren’t too bad either after both warming up for the event with a local Milan park run the day before. Nicola completed the half in 1:55:11 and Chris 1:28:55.
